How do I Use the Mouse with my DVR?

May seem silly had new replacement dvr.cant remember how to use the mouse thanks

What do you exactly mean by "can't remember how to use the mouse"? Are you using a directly connected VGA/HDMI monitor?

okay, looking at the details of that DVR it looks like you simply need to plug the mouse into one of the USB ports on the recorder and then when you turn the direct monitor on you will probably have to left or right-click to bring up a password box or unlocking code.
