Hello,

I just seen on local HikVision site, that there are new firmware for analog Turbo HD camera.

Firmware_V1.09.00_210818
Applied to:
DS-2CE17D0T-IT3F(2.8mm)(C)
DS-2CE17D0T-IT3F(3.6mm)(C)

DS-2CE17D0T-IT3F(6mm)(C)

How can I use this file to update my camera firmware?

Searched the web, with no success on finding this procedure.

Thanks!

Hi @apashi

To update analog camera firmware you will need to login to the DVR you have the cameras connected to and update the cameras from either the camera management page or the DVRs Maintenance/firmware menu. (we don't work with analog equipment so we don't know the specifics)

Also, make sure the cameras you have are actually (C) models as the (C) and non-(C) models will use different firmware, if you have older non-(C) models you won't be able to update to the above version.

Hello @Dan,

I think the procedure that you explain above, is only for IP Camera.

I try to find those menus in my DVR, but they are not there. :(

So for updating analog camera firmware, should be another procedure. :(

Or maybe there is a special equipment/tool for this upgrade.

Can you ask HikVision regarding this situation?

Thanks!

Hi @apashi

The process should be something like what I describe above as there definitely is not a tool or equipment for updating analog cameras.

Can you please confirm the DVR model you have? The user manual for the DVR model will likely include some instructions on updating firmware.

My DVR model is: DS-7208HQHI-K1
In user manual, there is no refer on how to update analog camera firmware.

Thanks @apashi

After my last message, I saw your other thread and could see that the DVR model you have is a DS-7208HQHI-K1, I've checked the user manual and it includes these instructions for updating analog cameras:

So you will need to download the camera firmware onto a USB storage device, plug it into the DVR, and then load the firmware following the above instructions.

Grate, I'll do that and come back with feedback.

Thanks!

That this mean I have the (C) camera version?

@apashi did you ever manage the upgrade? I have a similar upgrade available and the file is a hex file I have downloaded however the DVR will not accept a HEX file.

I tried, but with no success.
My DVR can't even see the file on the USB Stick . . . :(

Hi, I have several cameras DS-2CE56D0T-IRPF, in the DVR DS-7216HGHI-K1 max resolution is 960*1080, but hikvision at link says it's 1920x1080. What happend?

I was looking for some firmware, but not succes
Thanks

Unfortunately, as we are an IP camera specialist provider, we have very little experience with analogue cameras.
A forum user may drop by and be able to help, but there may also be better forums who can help you with analogue cameras and DVRs.
Sorry we can't be more helpful right now, we just don't know these products :(

Hi guys, analog camera's don't have ability to upgrade FW. You can only upgrade your DVR.

If you can't get full image see what's the may resolution your DVR accepts.

Thanks @Phil and @KamirZG, I think same, only IP cameras, but I did read above "To update analog camera firmware you will need to login to the DVR you have the cameras connected to and update the cameras from either the camera management page or the DVRs Maintenance/firmware menu."

I'll go focus on DVRs. Thanks

From my experience they have mostly same manuals, some things are different. And they don't delete things reffered to NVR's and another way around.
Only DVR have ability to upload FW , analog camera's don't. That's for sure.
