K Series NVR running v4 firmware

I was just checking the Release notes for the latest firmware for my DS2-2CD2385FWD-I/G 8mp turret and in the release notes, it states that the firmware was tested on a K Series NVR: DS-7632NI-K2（V4.1.54）

So looking at that Firmware version on the 7632NI-K2, does that mean that we can install the V4 firmware on the K series NVR's?

Has anyone tried this?

The NVR model that Hikvision say they are running v4 firmware on is not a model available in the UK/Europe so it may be that region-specific K-series models do support the v4 firmware, but we ourselves have not tested the v4 firmware on any K-series NVR.

Some other forum users did start a thread on this topic so I would have a read of this and then if you wish can try updating to the v4 firmware and feedback your experience to the above forum thread.
