Max cable distance?

Hi,

What is the max cable distance using CAT6 between a 7600 series Hikvison NVR and the camera?

I need to install a couple of cameras at a drive way entrance which will be a max run from the
NVR of around 130M.

Hi,

The maximum distance for Cat6 cable in one run is 100m, if you want to go further you will have to use an extender - Veracity OUTREACH Max XT VOR-ORM-XT Outdoor Ethernet and PoE Extender

Thank you. In the manual for the NVR it states long distance 100-300M via POE.
Is it not a case of turning on extended POE on the NVR?

Yes, it is possible to reach 300m but you have to use Cat6 and the camera has to be drawing less than 10w of power
