Acuseek is reserved for /VPRO nvrs and aswell ids 96 series /x

ONce you enable you lose alot of vca for non smart cameras.

It works great. Tested on 96 series

Yeah even without AcuSeek availability, I was hopeful that AcuSearch would work in the new Hik-Connect app for all NVRs/DVRs that support it. I guess that too is also reserved for the higher end NVRs and not the basic NXI models that support AcuSearch. I have a 7604NXI-K1/4P(D) on the bench now with a few AcuSearch compatible cameras. AcuSearch works relatively well in the NVR local UI (first time I've tried it TBH) but there's no change in the new Hik-Connect app.

I received 1 vpro around januray from hikvision for testing. This firmware also adds option to select false alarms and actually learn device which alarms ae not valid. It will not do it anymore, reducing it even lower

It's a shame we don't have the VPro models available in the UK [Yet?]. They are shown on the Hikvision UK website so we can only hope we get them. I'd probably look to replace my DS7616NI-M2/16P with a DS7616NXI-I2/VPro if/when they become available. I don't really need the incoming bandwidth on the M as I'm only running 9 cameras on a 16 channel model. According to Hikvision specs, the DS7616NXI-I2/VPro can run AcuSearch and AcuSeek across all channels if the connected cameras are AcuSense capable.

I2 will be obsolete even in vpro series
It seems strange that it will be obsolete before it is even released in the UK but who knows what will happen. The UK website shows new models that are not available/may not become available here and also lists the DS-76xxNI-I2/xP that has been obsolete for years.

I don't think the I2/VPro will be obsolete, I think they are currently new.
I bought mine in October, I had to wait 2 months for it. Bought on Alibaba.

Maybe it will work in Hik Connect, you just need to switch it to team mode - create team in app, then enable hik connect in nvr and then add nvr via qr code a verification code. It"s pretty difficult. Try this manual: How to Create Hik-Connect Team and Use the Cloud Service - SafeTrolley

Tested on DS-7632NXI-I2/VPro.

That original comment of mine was more regarding AcuSearch in the non Vpro models. AcuSeek and AcuSearch both work fine with the VPro models using the standard version of Hik-Connect; Team mode isn't needed.
