Should I have the option of 'White Light' on this camera? DS-2CD2386G2-IU

Hi all,

So I was just having a play with one of my new cameras - DS-2CD2386G2-IU (G5)

I have updated to the latest FW - But I don't see the option of 'White Light' under Smart Event > Linkage Method ...although the camera does appear to have a light physically built in?

Hi @virdi

The 'White light' feature is only supported by ColorVu models (23x7G2) and your model is an AcuSense turret, the G5 firmware is used by both the ColorVu and AcuSense cameras so when you see 'white light' mentioned in relation to the G5 firmware this will only impact the ColorVu cameras that are updated to that firmware.
