Unable to re-link DS-KD8003 door station to DS-KH6320 indoor station after network update

I've had these devices for about 5 years, generally working fine. I got a new home network setup, so had to update the devices with the relevant settings, but the door station no longer links with the indoor station.

I can open the live view on the indoor station, but the intercom/unlock doesn't work. In HikConnect app, it shows "Adding indoor station to Door Station Failed". I've reset both devices, set new passwords, and tried setting up via the Indoor Station wizard, and via iVMS but no success unfortunately.

In the door station config via iVMS, it shows "Register failed", but I don't get any more detail about the problem.

In door station setting, I've done Intercom -> Session Settings -> Registration password as well as doing it via the "Device Management" -> Add:

In the indoor station settings, I've set the Network -> Group Network Settings -> Registration password & Door station IP:

In SADP:

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Should it be protocol 1.0 or 2.0 for both?

(I have tried "Enable Protocol 1.0" = On, and Private Protocol 1.0 on both but still no joy in getting them to link)

Are the relevant ports open on the new router? SADP can see the devices but that doesn’t prove connectivity.

Yes, they have unrestricted communication between each other, and I can view the live stream fine remotely via HikConnect, it's just the intercom functionality that's not working (and unlock).

Are there any logs you can check on either device or ivms4200? There may be error messages or codes (like x0000abce) that may help.

Logs are usually under advanced settings.

Short way is delete indoor from device management inside door station
Change ip address of doorstation inside indoor station settings to something else. Press save then bring back to real IP so it readds itself.

Worked numerous times for me

Thanks both for your help - I couldn't find any logs unfortunately.

I've just tried factory resetting both devices (again), and repairing and it's working fine now for some strange reason!

The mysteries of IT, good to hear it is working again.
