Accessing hikvision 4200 on my laptop?

Hi, I can access my hikvision 4200 setup on the hikvison mobile app.
However I would like to access my cameras on my windows laptop.

What is the best way to do this? I have my log in details for my mobile app, would I need somthing extra to access on my laptop?

Hi @rickb

If you install Hikvision's desktop VMS - iVMS-4200(V3.10.1.5_E) - onto your laptop, you should see a box in the top right of that software to log in to your Hik-Connect app account.

This should link your app account to the iVMS software so that you can access any devices added to the app on the laptop.

when i open the software it is asking me for a superusername and password.
Is this a separate account I need to create just for the imvs 4200 laptop app?
