Can I access events via a PC, with no local monitor?

I'm very new to poe systems. I about to install a hikvision NVR with 4 colourvu cameras.
My problem is, the nvr will be away from the router and my computer and it's not possible to connect the nvr via hdmi cable.
Can I access the events management tools via my pc over the web?

Hi @David2749

If your NVR is on the same local network as the PC you want to access it from then it shouldn't be a problem to access the smart event settings using either a browser or the iVMS-4200 desktop software.
