Hello hobby friends,

I braced a DS-7732ni-i4/24p NVR at a bankruptcy auction
but I don't have a password, so it needs to be reset.
I see in SAPD and in IVMS4200 that he is active in the range 10.29.76.30
And my router has the range of 192.168.2.1.

How can I reflash it and put a new firmware on it.
There are several possibilities

1. If you want to submit a password reset request, it is highly recommended that you scan the QR code to download the Hik-Partner Pro app and then submit a request.

2, If you can't make the phone on which the Hik-Partner Pro app and Hikvision device are installed on the same LAN, please click here to reset the password as shown in the video 4 Ways to Free You from Resetting Your Password
If your device does not support password reset, we strongly recommend that you click here to get instructions via computer and reply to us with the xml file and label image. Do not restart your device or re-export the xml file until you receive our reply.
3, For disconnecting from Hik-Connect, we strongly recommend that you click here Note: Available features may vary depending on the country or region.

4, For searching for firmware updates of the device, we cordially invite you to click on the following link: How to Use Firmware Update Search on Hik-Partner Pro Note: Available features may vary depending on the country or region.

5, with TFTP server and serial cable or are there other tips

Everything is welcome.

Greetings hans

If you have a company , you can register HPP as an Authorized installer with filling up company details and image of proof.

When you get authorized and if that particular NVR is bought in same region you operate, you can create a case for password reset.

Cheers.

Hello Trempa92,I

I am an end user, not a company and then it becomes a lot more difficult.
If I read that here and there in the reviews, what I understand is the solution via serial port (RS232) to put new firmware on it.

Kind regards, Hans

Yes that is possible. This NVR isnt cheap, i'd suggest not doing something if you dont have all required tools to fix if it bricks.

You would need Serial to USB (putty or SecureCRT) + TFTP server. Good thing this NVR does have a standard RS232 serial port from back side, unlike smaller NVRs which got Uart 4 pin.

You may try to contact hikvision directly, they have done reset for end users in the past from time to time
