Hik Connect Notifications not working?

Has anyone else found that the Hik Connect notifications have stopped working today from around 8am? I have two systems which notifications have stopped appearing.
 
Hik-Connect notifications are working as usual...

"I think I've discovered the issue with mine, just not sure how to fix it. On the "Notifications > Settings > Device Notifcations Settings " it shows "No devices".

But I have my NVR added, and it shows six cameras on the home page.
 
Looking into this more I think the issue is that I'm using Port Forwarding rather than the platform integration in the NVR. I did try enabling the Hik-Connect plaform access in the NVR, but after scanning the QR code in the mobile app it tells me I need to accept the request, but I don't get anythign show in the NVR side to accept.
