Hi,
Power went out for a few hours and after booting up the system again now its saying The user name or the password is wrong. - See attached photo.

What username and password are it asking for?

I tried the admin password that i usually use to login when you boot up the system but did not work. also the 12345 123456 1234567 12345678 1234 etc.

I can access the Live Hik Connect on my phone and access the cctv from yesterday no problems using the phone also tried download SADP could login with my admin password.

Whats going on?

Hi @Mike11

How many cameras do you have connected to this recorder?
Are they all showing the same 'wrong password' error message?

Hi,
I got 17 cameras and all of them showing up on the screen and asking for password after the power outbreak.

Could i reset them manually somehow? Its IPC-B220?

I could not find any small box to open and reset on the camera itself and Its very strange because i can login to the screen and i see cameras but cant view them and i can login to SADAP no problems.

Could it be some IP conflict? either way a reset would probably best alternative that would clear that password.

Hi @Mike11

We are not familiar with these B220 cameras, but from what I can see online they should have MicroSD card slots on them and usually, the camera's hard reset button is behind the same cover as the MicroSD card slot.

I can't see any diagrams showing exactly where the MicroSD slot is but as these cameras are a box/bullet style you might find it under the rain shade on top of the camera.

When you do find the reset button you can follow these instructions

Fixed the problem by manually resetting each camera by sending the code code to Hik support and them sending me back the reset code back on each 17 cameras.
What a joke model for camera that you cant reset yourself without using Hik support.
