Hi all, I have a hikvision KV6113 - WPE1 C doorbell

I'm upgrading my DVR, which is also going to have some IP cams added, and want to pull the stream of the doorbell in.
Am I limited with which recorder I can use or can I bring the stream into any DVR which also has IP cams added?

Yes you can add this doorbell same as any other Hikvision ip camera.

What DVR make and model are you intending to use?

I believe they do not support ONVIF protocol.
So i totally doubt it'll work on 3rd party NVR/DVR

I didn't see RTSP capability on doorbells. The standard RTSP url does not work, neither are there RTSP auth settings available

From what Hik said, the doorbell does have RTSP just not ONVIF.

Don't really want to change the doorbell to be fair

Hey,

I don't know if it still a topic but I run Frigate with that doorbell system and it's working well:

For the main stream:
rtsp://username:password@XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:554/Streaming/channels/101
for the sub stream:
rtsp://username:password@XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:554/Streaming/channels/102

replace the XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX with the IP address of your camera & replace username and password with the one you defined during setup.

You can try it first in VLC player.

On addition comment if you use both streams with RSTP you can't use MJPEG feature of the camera.

For my setup with Frigate, I use both streams and restream one and transform it in MJPEG for my SIP system.
