Firmware Hikvision DS-7608NI-E2 / 8P NVR firmware update?

Thanks for the quick response. What's the out if things go wrong? I have located a copy of the firmware V3.4.95 build 170626.
 
If the firmware works I wouldn't expect there to be any major problems as this update is only a couple of versions newer than your current firmware.

If your NVR is from the AUS region and this firmware is just completely incompatible, the update will just fail and not complete.

If the upgrade is successful, you probably won't be able to downgrade to your old V3 firmware as the upgrade will have stepped you into the V4 firmware versions which bring lots of new updates including the new V4.0 GUI.
 
The good news is the update to V4.1.10 build171107 worked. One slight issue so far is one camera not displaying in split screen. I have 5 camera's so I have a 3 * 3 split. It does display just 1 view. Do we go further or leave it at that?
 
Thanks for your help. A bit of a haul but I've managed to install all the firmware updates, and all appears well.

How do you keep on top of the latest firmware when it arrives?

The next step is to attempt the camera firmware update. They are currently running V5.5.0 build 170725.

Using one of the serial numbers (all the same model) and HIToolsDelivery it is recommending V5.6.2_190701. I've found this firmware on the EU portal.

Not quite sure how to go about this. Upgrade shows a camera upgrade option. Says 'The version is already the latest'. Stumped at this point?

Good to hear the NVR updates worked, you can always check for the newest firmware versions by using the Hikvision Firmware Tool on their website.

In regards to the cameras, you are quite far behind with the firmware so we would also recommend updating these in steps like you did with the NVR, the list of firmware versions we recommend updating to is below:

V5.5.83_Build190221
V5.6.0_Build190507
V5.6.6 Build210625
