The Hikvision EasyIP 1.0 family (originally known as the R0/2 line family) was released in 2013.
It is made up of a range of 1.3MP and 3MP cameras.
All these models are now End of Life and were replaced by the EasyIP 2.0 cameras in 2015.

Key Features

• Range of focal lengths
  • Variety of fixed lenses; 2.8mm, 4mm, 6mm, 12mm - If you would like to see these focal lengths in action then please take a look at our post showing focal length differences
  • Vari-focal and motorised zoom options are also available

• H.264 video compression
  • compresses footage to reduce stress on storage and bandwidth
• EXIR LEDs
  • EXIR (EXtended InfraRed) LEDs
  • No IR reflection or bleeding
  • Better IR coverage
  • Less heat and problems with insects or spiders

• SD Card slot (selected models)
  • Models with an F at the end of their product code have an SD card slot.
  • For example -
    • DS-2CD2112F-I = Micro SD card slot
    • DS-2CD2312-I = No micro SD card slot
• Audio (selected models)
  • Some cameras are available with an audio I/O
• IP66 rated weatherproof housing (Selected models)
  • IP66 = Able to protect against powerful water jets

  • IK10 = resists 20 joules of impact energy

  • Every camera has the option to be powered by either PoE or a 12VDC PSU
  • PoE offers a simple solution which allows power and data to be carried down one network cable
