hikvision ip camera can't change resolution

Hi,

I have camera DS-2cd2085fwd-I, newest firmware 5.5.81.
I am using Internet explorer 11.

Problem is, that I can't change resolution or protocol to H265

anybody has a suggestion?

The newest firmware for that camera is actually V5.5.82:

Are you sure that you are using Internet Explorer:

I can see that you are now running V5.5.82, are you still having a problems changing resolution or selecting a CODEC?

I change setting, and after refresh is back to previews settings

Try Ctrl +F5 to refresh your browser when on the settings page before making and saving changes?

Clear your cookies and history?

Try running IE as an administrator?
Run Internet Explorer as an administrator

CTRL + F5 didn't work, BUT "Run as administrator" helps.

So I think that that was problem.

Is your camera perhaps connected to an NVR that cannot work with those higher settings?

Are other changes that you make being saved OK?

NVR is able to work with 4K.

Sometimes it save setting correctly, most of times not

I just had the same problem on one of my cameras.
I noticed if I powered down the NVR , made the changes then powered it up again the settings stuck.
