ISAPI without public IP

Hello guys,

I just bought a Hikvision ANPR camera that I want to use to record license plates and consolidate this data in a cloud database.
I’m learning about ISAPI and trying to setup a listening server so that I can capture the license plates via HTTP push.

But today I realized that all my internet service providers do not provide public IPs (mobile internet over 3G/4G). There is no point on doing port forwarding I just cannot access my IP camera remotely.

Is it possible to use ISAPI with a local IP? Any ideas on what my options are?

Thank you!
Javier

you mean your IP is dynamic one? why arent you using a service like dyndns? then you dont have to know the public ip, and it doesnt mather if your ip changes

offcourse port forwareded is still needed to access the isapi protocol on port 80...

i am also interested in that isapi listening server
i am als quite busy with ispapi, in my case with an video intercom, to open door, to capture events like doorpress, card swipe

do you do a polling on your cameras with isapi?
