NVR Playback in the Hik-Connect showing error "no video footage found"

Hello,

I have hikvision CCTV, which when I press playback, it's states no video footage found. I have checked the hard drive and it says normal. It's just recently done this.

Where are you trying to access playback? Direct HDMI monitor, browser, or Hik-Connect app?

Is it only one camera on the NVR that you can't see playback for or is it all of them?

Have you recently updated the firmware of the NVR and/or cameras? If you have, were you aware if the playback was working before the update?

Can you share screenshots of the NVR storage menus and the recording schedule?

Hi Dan,
I'm trying to access playback via the Hik-Connect app. There is only one camera and no firmware has been updated. I have attached the SS gor you.

Do you have access to the NVR via browser or a direct HDMI monitor?
How do you have this camera configured to record? Is it recording continuously or recording by Smart Event?

I don't know about the access as it was installed by soneone else.I just have the app. It was set to record continuously. The playback was working fine previously.

Okay,

You will need to access the NVR with a browser or direct monitor to check some things in the NVRs settings, this includes making sure the recording schedule & settings are configured correctly and testing the HDD for any issues.

If you are not confident about how to do this, it might be best to speak to whoever installed the NVR and ask them for some in-person support to fix the issue.
