NVR takeover - will password reset change the IP camera password?

I'm taking over an NVR for a new client who has moved into their new house and doesn't know the password to their NVR.

I have set the NVR up on my test bench at home in order to reset the password but I'm wondering if I do so, will I need to take down the cameras and reset the passwords of the cameras individually?

Hi, if you check Reset camera password it should change it.

Thanks. Do you know if they have to be plugged in at the time of the password reset?

Not sure, maybe its better if they are.

Asked a wholesaler and he said they probably need to be plugged in.
