just a little story about what I did in the last 2 weeks
with the end of winter, I was again into a situation where i was getting literally spammed by email because of shadow and wind (false notification) I was getting locked out of my gmail account (dedicated one for my camera) because of too much activity
TLTR; I got one DS-2CD3688G2T-LIZS and one PCI-T18F6S
I wanted to try the hybrid camera because of why not? So i went looking and the only one that made sense and was available was the DS-2CD3688G2T-LIZS, little bit expensive and I wont use 80% of the capability of it but at least I can try an hybrid one.
The position of the other camera wasnt a good place for a bullet so I needed something else and I didnt want a dome because of glare issue so I went with a turret. My requirement was same field of view, human detection with a better sensor and my choice were limited. The only one available that fitted my need was PCI-T18F6S.
All I can say is it's nice to have no notification and with an added bonus of a better night quality picture.
