Bit of a non-issue really but it had me puzzled.
I updated my M series NVR this afternoon to the latest firmware 5.04.050 and all seemed good.
Hik-Connect appeared to be working fine as all the cameras came back online in live view and I could access playback. Then I noticed that I was no longer getting push notifications in the app?
Nothing had been changed on the app so I guessed the issue must be with the NVR after the upgrade and its connection to the app.
Under network configuration Hik-Connect is enabled on the NVR and the status is showing as online.
The events are being triggered on the NVR as when I do an 'event search' in the Event Center I can see them, they were just not being sent to the app.
The app is updated to the latest version.
The app is granted permission to send notifications.
"notify surveillance centre" action is still checked in the NVR event settings.
"push notifications" for Hik-Connect are enabled in phone settings.
I even tried rebooting the NVR and triple checked all the settings but nothing was obvious.
I eventually decided to give up as it was driving me insane and try again tomorrow then I go out to the car and without warning they've suddenly started coming through again.
It’s a strange one... five hours of messing this afternoon with no idea of what caused the push notifications to stop and now they started again!
