Hello Dear codlord i have seen a post you did in 2022 about having 2 main streams in iVMS4200 in 2 different workshops, Have you find a way? im looking for the same method but couldn't find anything talks about it and the post wasn't answered ever since. if it solved and find a way to access iVMS 4200 in 2 different pc or windows server please let me know! thank you so much

No, although you can create another view as the post says, I never found a way to move the second view to another Windows workspace, it just doesn't seem possible. I worked around it - I had a second Linux PC and monitor on the same desk so I installed a second bit of software (cctv-viewer) on the Linux PC for my second view.

Hi, thanks for the message. So far so good. I have not had any problems with those thermals. They work great when it comes to line crossing and intrusion and getting good distances with them.

Hi. i have a Hikvision DVR (DS-7104HGHI-K1). It was linked to the hikconnect app but it got deleted and when I tried adding it back on, it asked for the device verification code but theres nothing on the box nor the label. how can I fix this problem or how can I factory data reset this DVR?

I'm looking to get about 20+ Hikvision cameras. This would be for a restaurant with a large outdoor space. Potentially thinking a few Colorvu cameras and the rest of the cameras with Acusense. Could you please recommend the cameras and NVR to use? I've seen posts explaining that it is recommended for the NVR to not have acusense but instead for the camera to do so?

Hi, i had the same only back IVMS 3.6.1.3 restart PC, if it doesn't help reboot KD-8003, if not Restore All

check if it works
1. Ringht ( only Restore All KD 8003 and KH 6320 / full configuration only KH 6320 device pairing KD 8003 / rest IVMS configuration, it helped for me
2. Backlight off ( worked before V 2.2.50 ) Config Day/Night Switch select daytime
3. Add online Device - config device Management ( I add KH 6320,, and spinning icon only)

"The Gmail SMTP server is smtp@gmail.com, and the use-IP sender SMTP port is 465 (for SSL encryption) and 587 (for TLS encryption) – if you are not given the option to use either SSL or TLS, then both port numbers should work fine."

We do not use the @ sign when specifying SMTP.

I have a question for you please, as I am currently making a video installtion.
I have 9 cameras (Axis M3024-LVE 1920x1080) connected to a PoE switch D-Link DGS-1210-28P.
And I am planning to purchase a HIKVision NVR. I was wondering to purchase a Hikvision DS-7616NI-K2, as I don't need the NVR being PoE as my cameras are powered on by the switch.

Or is a DS-7616NI-K1 enough ? As I just want to record video on motion detection during 30 days (or maybe less) and can lower the reolsution of the cam if need it and will not use other functionality

hi Erudes, I have ds-7604ni-k1/4p(b) Hikvision and I did a factory reset as the description of the system was still showing the names of the previous owners and even some professional engineers*(Tickford Security) couldn't resolve it. One camera went offline. So I did a factory reset and I didn't take a copy of all the settings.
I am not sure how to connect to the web gui. any help would be appreciated.

I have purchased a Hikvision DS-KD8003-IME1 and I need to connect it to my Robus 600 sliding gate motor.

Can you advise which wires I need to connect from the door station to the gate motor please?

Hi JB1970 I have not been following for some time and thought I would check my firmware, last time I did it, you assisted me in sorting the speech function on the DS-2CD2386G2-ISU/SL if you recall, do you still use these and if so what is the latest stable firmware that you would recommend?

Hi. The latest version was 5.7.10 but there was an issue in that, that removed the Dual VCA function (that allows NVR Smart Pkayback) so I reverted to 5.7.3. I’ve just returned from holiday and while away a 5.7.10SP version was released that fixes the Dual VCA bug. I’ve yet to try it but other posts indicate the fix works.

Hi. I've just seen your post from April asking about systems. Did you eventually get the advice you were looking for? Obviously not from Use-IP but I'd like to know where from please? Do you have the website address? I don't have any issues with networks and addresses but I'm keen to hear about the options available and why you chose them.
