Hi Everyone,

Might be a stupid question, but here goes . . . . . my home system is a Hikvision NVR (7608 ?) with 7 cameras. All working good. Been in place a number of years.

The place I volunteer at have purchased a Hilook NVR plus cameras. Everything works as required.

On my Hikvision system, when I log into the NVR via my laptop, I can go to camera management and there is a link for each camera that I click which takes me to the log in page for the camera, where I can change shutter speed etc. I seem to remember running various bits of software to get this function.

On the Hilook, NVR it has the same page, but no links to the cameras. Can I get this sort of functionality on the Hilook NVR ? If so, could someone advise how, or point me at a thread on here that will tell me ?

Thanks in advance

You'll need to check whether the HiLook NVR has the Virtual Host capability:

Hi Phil,

Thanks for the response. This seems very familiar, must be the process I used last time.

Thanks for all your help

Regards

Simon
