any way to avoid email spamming?

i have setup email notification on my hikvision (DS-2DE3304W-DE and DS-2CD2155FWD-I) with line crossing / motion detection

when there is some "event", the camera can send up to 5-15 email per minutes

is there a way to prevent that?

As @fullboogie says Event settings can be a bit trial and error but we would definitely recommend using a more specific event like line crossing, intrusion, etc... if you want fewer notifications, motion detection can be more easily triggered by things like trees moving in the wind, shadows, clouds, pets or wild animals running through the scene. If you have to use motion detection we would recommend adjusting the sensitivity and detection area to reduce the chances of false triggers.

thanks, i played around some events setting and i'm getting less "spam" email now, i just wish there was a setting like "when triggered, dont send new email after X seconds)
