No, because that model is an analog TurboHD ColorVu camera which means it only works on COAX analog cable and will only link to an analog DVR and not a network NVR.

The equivalent IP model would be the DS-2CD2387G2-LU (C) but this model is not yet in UK stock.

Yes - on the IP models you have the same Motion Detection, Line Crossing, Intrusion etc but the ability to filter out events to Human and/or Vehicle. It's not perfect but it is a huge step forward.

I’d ignore the distances specified - they’re not particularly accurate

As Dan said in post #2 the analogue version will not work with an NVR as it runs on coaxial cable. So if you have the IP NVR you mentioned in your first post then you can only use IP cameras and would need to wait if you're wanting that model.
