iVMS-4200 DS-KD8003-> IVMS-4200 send poor resolution picture

Hello,
I have DS-KD8003 connected to IVMS-4200 when is motion detection on KD8003 than is sended picture to IVMS-4200, but the picture resolution very poor. It is possible setup better picture?

Hi @pemen

Have you set up the motion detection on the DS-KD8003-IME1, or on an NVR that you have it connected to?

Check that you have set the highest resolution option for all streams as well:
In iVMS-4200, go to the device management page, and click on settings (the cog button) for the KD8003, and then go to Video/Audio>Video.

Hi @pemen
I can't see any other setting to improve the quality of the pictures that are sent, so I think you are receiving 2MP pictures but these just seem poor quality compared to the higher-resolutions that are more common now.
Are you able to share an example picture to show the quality of the picture you are seeing?
 
I don't know what do you mean , how to share an example picture to show the quality of the picture ?
 
Sorry, ignore me, I didn't see your third attachment in post #3, which is what I meant.
It looks like it's taking the picture from the substream.
Can you show me where you set the motion detection up to send the picture in iVMS-4200, please?

Hello, from the last update I have similar problem.
I'm using KD-8003 + KH-8350, and them previously works fine on their original firmware.
Three days ago I updated their firmwares to the latest versions due to new functionality - opening 2nd door(gate) via code.
After updating proces I made factory reset (because Kh-8350 wasn't opening doors), and new configuration.
All now works fine, but I noticed that all photos (eg. photos of guests) in hik-connect are poor quality now. I have also old photos from notifications before update, and they have many better resolution and quality.
In configuration of KD-8003 I cannot change resolution of sub-stream, like as @pemen shows in post #3.

Does somebody know what happens there?
 
Hey, i had a same problem, after updating firmware on the KD-8003, i resolved the problem when my phone was not calling me when someone was on the door. But the quality got terrible! It was ok only in the configuration window on the hikvision batch configuration window. I did restored to factory settings (from the intercom menu - KH-8350) and readded the intercom again, i had to activate, change IP and then restart the KH-8350.
TLDR;
When poor quality after firmware update (2.2.6x), restore door station to factory settings, readd and restart intercom.
