HDD Problems with DS-760xNI-K1 and (B) Versions

Hi,

we have often problems with DS-760xNI-K1 and (B) series, that the harddrives go to status "Uninitializied" after sometime. After reformatting, all is fine. Harddrives are in good state after doing short and full test! Is this a firmware problem from this recorder series? We use WD Purple Harddrives.

The most recorders run on V3.4.100 build 180310. Maybe Firmware Upgrade will fix this?

That is quite an old firmware, the latest firmware for the DS-760xNI-K1(B) is v4.30.085

As you are many versions behind and the fact that v4 firmware introduced some substantial adjustments we would recommend that you first update to v4.30.000 before then updating to the latest version.
