HikVision Camera not being found on network

I was hoping to set up one of my Hikvision IP POE cameras up as a badger cam. I decided to test the camera today by attaching it to a POE adapter and then using the AnyCam software, locate the camera on my network. However, I couldn't find the camera. I'm wondering whether these type of cameras don't work. Using this method. I plug the camera straight into my NVR box and it's working fine. Any suggestions?

Yes, I've tried them all. I will just have to keep trying.

@Ironside I tested mine with VLC and used rtsp://useridassword@192.168.nnn.nnn:554/Streaming/channels/101

www.hogcams.co.uk see mound cam after 9pm, that is a hikcam.

I decided to go with a company called Camsecure who specialise in IP cameras. They also offer a streaming service which I have used before. I have just paid my subscription, which will be £2.99 a month. However, where do I find the URL of the camera? (Public URL for your camera access)

I've used Camsecure but changed to ipcamlive, they are free for streaming. More advanced features for a monthly subscription.
