I was up at my local Robert Price builders today and saw that there Hikvision CCTV was switching between cameras every 10 seconds.
I asked how they did this and was told it was set up like it when the system was fitted.

So can i ask if there is a "HOW TO" on how to set up the NVR to switch between cameras every 10 seconds.

Thank you.

Are you viewing your NVR via a direct HDMI/VGA monitor? Is this for the HiWatch NVR you mentioned in previous threads?

Hi Dan

Yes i'm viewing via HDMI to 2 monitors away from the NVR and another monitor via VGA next to the NVR.
Yes for the moment it is for my Hiwatch 216M-A/8P.

Ok, on the HiWatch NVR live view you should see a button labelled 'auto-switch' which when clicked enable enables the auto-switch cycle so the cameras change at a set time.

If you go into the Configuration menu you should also see a setting for 'Dwell Time' which is the amount of time each camera is on screen before it switches.

Once again a big thank you. Cheers Dan.

Thats the problem in not knowing where the manual is for the NVR, and trying to work things out.

I have already seen that one. It does not cover the 200 series HiWatch NVR.
But thank you anyway for trying.
