Vehicle Detection and face configuration

Hi,

I am trying to enable Vehicle Detection and VCA Face capture,

• when i try via my Chrome browser on mac. i get error "Does not support the function."
• when i log directly into each camera they are enabled.
• when i try to enable via iVMS-4200 app on macOS the face detection is grey out - But no option for vehicle

My Hardware Kit:
NVR: DS-7608NI-K2 / 8P
IP Camera: DS-2CD2347GS-LSU/SL

I have updated the NVR to the latest version from Hikvision website

Firmware Version V4.72.107 build 220914
Encoding Version V5.0 build 220831
Hardware Version. B-R-K51-00
Web Version V4.0.1 build 220905
Plugin Version V3.0.7.500


Basically i want to enable vehicle and face and detection.

Any help please? Any guide how to?

The K series NVRs lack support for acusense camera functions. You need either the DS-7608NI-I2/8P or DS-7608NXI-I2/8P NVR to fully support your camera including 2-way audio

Both AcuSense and 2-Way audio will work on the K series with version 4 firmware.

Your camera does not support Vehicle Detection. The AcuSense feature can be used to filter out events other than Vehicles (and/or Humans). 'Vehicle Detection' is something different entirely.

The camera can be set up for Face detection by enabling it in the camera (not the NVR) here:

The camera will reboot after the setting is changed, then you should be able to configure the Face Detection settings. However if you choose Face Detection, you are disabling Smart Event so you will lose line crossing, intrusion detection etc.
