Viewing Hikvision camera on internet explorer problem

Good Day All,

I am trying to set virtual alarms on someone's NVR however I can't see the cameras.

It tells me the following when I try and view the cameras:

"The stream is encrypted. Please go to the Local Configuration
interface to set the Encryption Key and restart live view"

I have set the encryption key and saved so I don't understand what I am doing
wrong or how to fix this.

Any suggestions on this?

Hi @Marco Hill

When you say have set the encryption key, do you mean you have set an encryption key during the set up of the NVR or do you mean you have been to Configuration > Local and entered the key you set into the Encryption Key box to unlock the camera streams?

Thanks a million Dan, I was able to fix this by typing it under the local page. I kept going to the platform page.

Dan, may I ask is this the same as the CCTV login password as mine isn't viewable and I can log into the Web Interface but not view any Images

This is an old thread.

Can you please create a new thread on the forum with more detail of exactly what your issue is?

Please include the model numbers and firmware versions of the NVR and cameras you have.

Also, if you have them, please share screenshots of what you are seeing when accessing the NVR.
