Hik-Connect "Connecting device to streaming server failed" error?

After configuration on the firewall allowing nvr through and adding nvr onto Hik-Connect platform, I encounter another issue.

The 3x IP cameras connected to the nvr not online.

Error massage on each channels: "Connecting device to the Streaming Server failed. Refresh to try again."

Please someone assist on this issue?

Hi @Activate PNG - what is the model number of your NVR, which firmware version is it running?
What version of Hik-Connect are you using as well, and on which phone please?

Have you set the gateway address correctly and tried setting the Primary DNS to 8.8.8.8 and the Secondary DNS to 8.8.4.4?
Also, how did you add the NVR to your Hik-Connect account - via QR code / serial number, or by IP / domain?

You could also test with 'shields down' on your firewall to be sure that this isn't the problem.
 
Im getting the same error message on hik connect

Device model: DS7608NXI-K1/8P Firmware Version: V4.76.005. DNS is set to 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4

IPv4: 10.116.6.20
Gateway: 10.166.6.1

Any help appreciated

Is that just a typo maybe?
116 versus 166 - they should very likely both be the same?
(for your NVR and router to both be in the same network domain range)
