It worked only after changing Transfer protocol to TCP

Mine is already set to TCP.

But I tried flipping to UDP and back to TCP (with port 80 and 8000). Still no joy. Ofcourse tried reboot of the NVR too.

Don't mind blurry photo but you can see same settings as you trempa. I'm stumped.

After upgrading your 6113, did you factory restore? As well nvr?

I did factory restore on both after upgrading. Its an advice hikvision says it has to be done after upgrading

Oh no, I have not. I may have missed thet if it was in the release notes.
But honestly, what a pain if that's the case. I don't want to have to reconfigure everything :/

Its not written in release note. But thats unwritten rule hikvision use. Whenever i asked them when there was an issue that was their first question. Did you factory restore..

I might have to then, maybe just start with the doorbell.
Do you know how HikConnect users will be impacted with NVR reset? I'm happy to spend time on this but rest of the users are all set up on their phones.

I really want to like HikVision, but lord do they make it difficult with their buggy software. Great hardware though.

Do you mean hik connect users that share this device? Or hc users for opening door aka hc teams mode

Correct. I am the main hc account connected to the NVR and indoor station, and I share with other users. I'm concerned if I reset either device, I'll have to go through resharing process again, even though device ids should all remain the same.

No, that will stay, only thing you will need is to enable platform access again in the device and reconfigure it

Thanks trempa. The factory reset of the doorbell resolved the issue annoyingly.
I had then to reactivate the device through the indoor station and going back into the NVR to add it as "access control device" just worked this time.

Calls did fail on the indoor station, but I found it was because I may had changed the video setting on the doorbell to the new H265 format when it appears the door station supports H264 only.

I've been holding off upgrading to this firmware, but looking like I'm going to have to give it a go.

I have a DS-KV6113-WPE1(C) running V2.2.78 build 241012 connected to a DS-7608NI-I2 / 8P running V4.61.025 build 220905 (the latest available, I think) as just a normal camera using HikVision protocol.

The intercom functionality runs in parallel to a pair of indoor KH6320 units.

I'm reading that this update changes how the camera appears and fear this will break the NVR functionality, and there is no firmware update available for the 7608NI-I2.

Anyone done this?

Bumping this on the off chance someone might be able to help.

I guess you'll have to try it out for yourself. You can always downgrade if it's not for you. I believe the 6113 has been superseded with a newer model so I'd expect it to 'end of life' and only receive firmware updates for security fixes.

Is the downgrade as simple as just supplying the correct firmware file as per an upgrade would work?

Yes. You just downgrade in the same you upgrade. I will say that I've had issues upgrading the firmware via the web interface a couple of times and had to resort to using iVMS-4200 to do the update but YMMV. Regardless you would want to download and save a copy of your current firmware build first which is available on the UK portal here:
