On Hik-Connect, yes, but if I select an area where there was no human activity, there are no results. You mean the VPro is ok with detection on Playback timeline with v5.7.19??
6.9.880 - Push notifications came through instantly
6.10.0 - Push notifications (in my case) are being delayed by 15 seconds or more.
This is exactly what I'm seeingI had a courier call at the door yesterday, he handed a parcel to me then walked away. It was only after I closed the door, walked back in the dining room and opened the parcel that I got the notification.
I thought nothing of it but then the postie just delivered the mail and again, the push notification took absolutely ages to arrive.
So I took a walk outside to check all the cameras and it is literally taking in excess of 40 seconds for the push notifications to come through. That's on both 5G and on Wi-Fi.
I usually check the App Store frequently. Hik support asked me to update and there had been another update (.820) straight after I contacted them. It didn't help.Hik-Connect was on 6.9.880 (never seems to auto update), so I have updated that to the latest 6.10.820 and the delay is still in excess or 40 seconds.
I've detailed everything I've tried on the VPro thread (including proving its NVR specific by re-setting up my previous machine on the same connection and account) as I thought it was specific to that recorder. Hik support have confirmed they're getting instant notifications with an M and inconsistent results with a VPro and he's escalated it to third line support but they're bogging him down with dumb ass questions (much like he did with me lol) as they're not convinced it's an app or NVR issue.Currently the NVR (Mine is the M series) is on firmware 5.04.060 that's just me being lazy with updates, so I thought I would update that too...
Seems to have done the trick... now its a more reasonable 3-4 seconds for the push notifications but I will definitely keep an eye on it.
I don't think it was a firmware issue though... maybe the reboot cured it? any thoughts?
I notice this morning that there had been another minor update to 6.10.821 with 'fix timeline slider not playing issue'. If you dragged the timeline, it wouldn't play previously, this is now fixed.
Did Hik-Connect previously allow high speed scrubbing on the timeline, or did I imagine it? It doesn't work now, perhaps it never did...
... I don't think Hik-connect ever did high speed scrubbing... only the NVR console GUI does, I think?Yeah you might be right. It's not something I use but I could've swore I saw it working in the app....I think you were imagining this... I'm still seeing issues in Hik-Connect playback in .821 though. While trying to search for something that was dumped in the road overnight, when I drag the timeline, it goes initially to the correct point in time. However when I then try and drag it back a small amount it keeps jumping/locking to the nearest event marker in the timeline, despite 'All' being selected for the filter (rather than event, human, or vehicle). That's not on my dodgy VPro recorder, it's on 7616K2.

Another strange bug I see that's been there for some time...Hmmm... same here... if I backward/forward a larger amount then it moves... a small drag an I'm getting the same result you are![]()
I have been having the same problem with DS-KH6320-WTE1 for over 2 weeks once the hik-connect upgrade, hik-connect 6.10.820.0918
Yes the issue remains the same even with the second v6.10 update. Also the clips playback, either Notifications or camera clips, landscape full screen, allows only zoom in/out. You cannot even go back if not rotating portrait. Touch on image has no effectI have been having the same problem with DS-KH6320-WTE1 for over 2 weeks once the hik-connect upgrade, hik-connect 6.10.820.0918
Anytime I get a Camera push notification from NVR, I get the 2nd notification from the intercom to my watch and I can't see which camera is alerting unless I scroll to a previous message. Annoying.
Playback is still broke for me. I can scroll and pick a point on the timeline but then after moving it a few times, the playback keeps snapping back to the previous time selection rather than the newly selected position. Hopeless.6.10.822 out. ‘Fixes some bugs’ allegedly.

I'm not so sure I imagined this now. I'm just following up on an installation I completed yesterday. I always review daytime and nighttime images following an installation to check image quality, ensure events set up are triggering and to snapshot the day and night camera views. I do this in the Hik-Partner Pro app and high speed scrubbing during playback is working there when remote to the site. I can't see why it wouldn't also be possible in Hik-Connect for End User.I think you were imagining this... In 6.10.821, I no longer getting a 2nd notification from the DS-KH6320-WTE1 , so glad they fixed it.Yes the issue remains the same even with the second v6.10 update. Yes. Also installed this new update from google play store and for that issue it is solved. The rest remain the same. No controls for Landscape image and the similar of the timeline with ios. Scrolling and jumping while moving the timeline makes playback to points unreachable. A way to fix during that is to zoom unzoom the timeline and then this stops for a while. Becomes worse if rotating landscape. In 6.10.821, I no longer getting a 2nd notification from the DS-KH6320-WTE1 , so glad they fixed it.
Yes this makes it really difficult to play back. Same in iOS on .822Scrolling and jumping while moving the timeline makes playback to points unreachable.
I can't remember ever having a filter on Hik-Partner Pro. I just have to manually move the timeline to a red marker and then expand the time line n=by pinching to move to the event. On Hikpro, this issue does not exist, but also I cannot filter events, no Events, no Human, no Vehicle options exist.
Good point. Yes I think you could. On 6.9.x, Human, Vehicle, Event were available to select and you could select more than one. On 6.10.x 'All' is clicked allowing you to change it to Human or Vehicle or Event, but you cannot select multiple.About Hik-Connect I cannot remember, if prior to 6.10, both Human and Vehicle simultaneously could be selected
