I have recently moved from the old and reliable DS7608NI-K2's to the newer NXI series attracted by features like motion 2.0 and Analytics like hard hat detection and object thrown detection.
Much to my disappointment (although lets be honest its hik so i sort of expected it) i cant use any of these features except for motion 2.0 but the restricts me to using only 4 point detection areas making it practically useless?!
to confirm i have activated the various VCA settings under settings>VCA.
My question(s) is this:
1) Which Cameras support Hard hat detection and thrown object detection? I currently have DS-2CD2387G2-LSU/SL colorvu installed.
2) is there a fix for motion 2.0 only being able to have 4 point detection areas when if disabled intrusion detection will allow me to draw multi point areas so i can avoid roads etc that will cause excessive activation.
I am very experienced with the hik kit but disappointed they keep rolling out features but no inform on which cameras they will work with.
