ColorVU G5 platform, ROI not working properly when H265+ is selected?

Anyone knows why Degraded area, outside ROI area(region of interest), remains high resolution, good detail, when H265+ is selected?

These are ColorVU DS-2CD2047G2-L and DS-2CD2047G2-H LIU both G5 Platform
Firmware is same for both of them and it is V5.7.14build 231028
Had not used H265+ encoding before.
Could this be because of the automatic I Frame Interval and/or wrong setting for Max. Average Bitrate?

It looks as though ROI is not supported with H265+. This pop up appears when switching to H265+ on a G1 model:

You don't get the above popup when you switch to H265+ on a G5 model. However if you look at the notes in the 'Help' link, you'll see:

While it's not clear which 'functions are not supported', I'm guessing that ROI is not supported with H265+ on any model. Perhaps, as the note says, the ROI interface should be hidden if it's not supported, to avoid confusion.
