Hik-Connect What does Unbind do?

In the process of trying to get Hik Connect to operate remotely on the mobile. I inserted the Lot Number on the box of the camera. (This is the Verification Code?) It came back as 'Incorrect Verification Code'

You only need to use unbind if during the process of adding the device to Hik-connect you are alerted to the device already being attached to another Hik-connect account. If the device is brand new out the box then you don't need to unbind.

The verification code is simply the 4 digits shown next to the verification code box, it is simply a security test to prove you are not a robot.
