Hikvision has announced new firmware for their I-Series AcuSense Network Video Recorders - V5.01.060 build240110

This firmware brings the new 5.0 GUI to the DeepinMind M-series NVRs (iDS-76xx/77xx/96xxNXI-M2/M4/M8/M16/X).

The Release Notes are attached.

Search for your model in the Hikvision Firmware Portal to locate the correct firmware file.

We have so far seen no feedback for updating these model NVRs to the V5 GUI / latest firmware.
e.g. those listed in Post #1 in this thread.

However, based upon the feedback from many M-series NVR users after updating their NVRs we must advise caution before doing so.

i.e. unless you want to be a Beta tester it is probably wise to wait:

I've taken the plunge and installed it. The NVR came back up without any issues and my HDMI display worked as expected, and so did Hik Connect. There's a new version of the LocalServicesComponents as well.
I haven't checked everything but I did notice that it is possible to upgrade firmware from the browser now. Well, it allows you to navigate to a local source so I assume that it will work when it needs to. I don't know if the OTA upgrade option works. It didn't before.

Nothing new as you could always upgrade from the browser before.

Yes I also upgraded and other than the "Choppy" playback through Hik Connect it works fine.

Really? I could upgrade firmware from older machines from the browser but not from the DS-7608NI-M2/8P. The option was greyed out.
