still act the same in ivm as 5.7.10_220720. I have to downgrade. The video is freeze when you max and min. I have 5 camera and 2 of them have this problem. very interesting.

First, I try via webpage always show an error that say that "Fail in obtaining Update state" (diferent files 5.7.10_220720, 5.7.3_220112 and 5.7.10_220830)

Then, I try pushing reset button, and conecting a PC -> Switch <- Camera ... install TFTP Hikvision with digicap.dav file in the same folder... but it didn't do anything.... and when i check with SADP show me Camera IP 192.168.1.64.... never see 192.0.0.64 IP Ping Response

Now I'm Trying via SSH looking for some command that make some change

Updated my 2CD2387G2-LSU/LU to firmware 5.7.10_sp dated 220830. No issues to report. Everything appears to be working. Connected to a 7608NI-I2/8P NVR. Dual-VCA option is back again as well as the additional features mentioned in the release notes.

Not carried out any extensive testing but it's been running 12 hours and recording continuously in that time.

I have two cameras Factory update I have never updated it:
DS-2CD2T87G2-L
Firmware Version:V5.5.800 build 210628
Firmware Version Property:B-R-G5-0
-------------
DS-2CD2683G2-IZS
Firmware Version:V5.7.1 build 211009
Firmware Version Property:B-R-G5-0
------
Do I update it directly to the new version V5.7.10_SP, or do I have to install the older updates successively until get to the latest update?

The update method that I will follow is to enter the camera page through the NVR page.

Does the code B-R-G5-0 mean the camera model (C) or G5?

Hi @Basim

They are both G5 (C) models, you can find all the firmware versions at the Download Portal

We recommend that you update the 2T87G2 to v5.7.1 and then update to the latest v5.7.10 firmware because it is going from v5.5.xxx to v5.7.xxx

The other model should be okay to update straight to the latest version.

Thank you
The cameras version is the worldwide version, do updates on the European site work with it?

The versions you are currently running are the same build versions that are also available in the EU download portal, so I think you should be fine to update to the latest versions available in the portal.

Is anyone else experiencing stability issues with this latest firmware?

I have 5x DS-2CD2386G2-IU cameras paired with a DS-7608NXI-I2/8P/S. The NVR is running the latest firmware (V4.61.066 build 220920) but when attempting to upgrade the camera firmware all hell breaks loose:

- iVMS-4200, iVMS-4500 and the Hik-Connect app report intermittent data transmission issues
- Cameras power cycle intermittently (resulting in gaps in continuous recording) - frequency varies and there does not appear to be any pattern, but roughly 5-10 times per day per camera

Tried all different configurations (disabling all basic and smart events, toggling Dual VCA on and off, ensuring time settings are all synchronised, etc.) but nothing appeared to resolve the instability. Also tried rolling the NVR firmware back and forth but no difference there either.

I experienced this with all five of my cameras, which are powered via two different PoE switches and connected over a wired network to the NVR. They are all set to continuous record at full resolution in H264 (constant bitrate).

I have rolled my cameras back to the older firmware I had installed (V5.7.3 build 220216) and they have been rock solid ever since so I'm assuming this is an issue with this latest firmware?

I have G3 version of DS-2CD2386G2-IU (B-R-G3-0) and have a V5.5.801 build 211105 which I found a problem of disconnecting from NVR (V4.61.000 build 220507) for random 3-6h per day. The camera also records on SD card as well as NVR, so it is working 24/7, just NVR will not detect it and there is no way to get it back even full NVR restart will not help. Tried using DHCP/static IP, would work for a day and then would be unavailable. From the camera log I see the pattern - it happens when there is a "Remote: Alarm Disarming" message. Although, I don't use Alarm functions. This was not a problem in V5.5.160 and likely Hikvision will not release update to G3 anymore, so will rollback as well.

There 2 version

IPC_G5_EN_NEU_
IPC_G5_EN_STD_

What i use NEU or STD ??
STD is the 'Standard' firmware version with Hikvision branding and NEU is the 'Neutral' firmware without Hikvision logos and branding, we recommend just sticking with the STD firmware

V5.7.3 build 220216
Did someone solve this issue? I have the same problem. All firmwares give gaps in the recording and reboots of the device. The firmware with the "white light" (v5.7.2 211228) function gives the most gaps, the last ones less. All my other cameras (G1's) don't have this problem on the NVR

I ended up RMA’ing the cameras affected by this issue and the replacements are working fine.

That said, I had exhausted pretty much every other possibility (water ingress, PoE power supply, cable terminations, network connectivity, DHCP conflicts, etc.) before resorting to RMA.

I feel like it was something to do with the firmware updates as the onset of the issues coincided with upgrading, although downgrading was then no help.
